Each year a number of high-quality academic opportunities are available to Albion College students. Options include research/study internships at academic institutions all over the world, numerous federal government agencies, and government scientific laboratories. Contact the Department office at 517/629-0361 for more information.
An alphabetical list of mathematical summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) is maintained by the American Mathematical Society for Mathematics. The National Science Foundation (NSF) funds the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program, "supporting active research participation by undergraduate students in any of the areas of research funded by the National Science Foundation," including mathematics and computer science. The NSF maintains a list of REUs in Computer and Information Science and Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, and other areas.
