Education:  B.A., Albion College, 1996; M.S., Michigan State University, 2003; Ph.D.-(ABD), Western Michigan University 

Hometown:  Ithaca, Michigan

Hobbies/Fun Facts:  I was born and raised on a cash crop farm in Ithaca, Michigan. In order to pay for my college education, I raised hogs and cattle and sold them at the 4-H fair.  I have three younger brothers who also graduated from Albion. All four of us are first-generation graduates of Albion College.

What Makes Albion College Special to You? Albion is part of my family. All my brothers graduated from here and my wife is the Albion College Cheerleading Coach. Albion is a wonderful place to work and raise my two sons. My best friends, my family and my professional career all are connected to Albion. The faculty, staff and students make the College a magical place.

Favorite Albion Moments:  Winning the 1994 NCAA Division III National Football Championship. It was an experience that I will never forget. GO BRITS!
