Education: B.A. Broadcast Journalism and Communication, University of Northern Colorado, 2006
Hometown: I spent the first 12 years of my life in Southern California and then moved to Denver, Colorado, where I called home for 14 years. My husband and I moved to Michigan last fall.
Hobbies/Fun Facts: My husband is a football coach here at Albion so I love attending the football games! I also enjoy walking my Shiba Inu, Capone, around Victory Park, visiting friends and family in Denver, and exploring the beautiful state of Michigan.
What makes Albion College special to you? The students and alumni make Albion College such a special place. I've really enjoyed getting to know current students and watching them make a difference on this campus. Our students and alumni share a deep sense of pride for Albion and everything the college stands for. I've really never seen anything like it!
Favorite Albion Moments: Cheering on the football team at home games is definitely my favorite Albion moment. Briton football games hold many traditions including the pre-game performance by the British Eighth marching band and a packed "Brit Pit" student section full of enthusiastic fans decorated in purple and gold.
Best College Search Tip: Visit both large and small schools! Some students automatically rule out schools based on their size. You really won't know what feels like the right fit until you visit campus and meet students. During the college search process, make an effort to step outside of your comfort zone and visit small, medium-size, and large-sized schools.
