The Dead Pinocchio Theatre Continues Season with Smart, Funny ‘Forgiveness and the Saints’
On Friday, March 26, and Saturday, March 27, the Dead Pinocchio Theatre presents staged readings of the new play, “Forgiveness and the Saints,” by Christian Gaul. Performances are at 8 p.m. both nights, with a talk-back with the cast and director to follow.
“Forgiveness and the Saints” begins when Sean decides to give up sex, leading him down a darkly comical path — an exploration of love, lust, and sanity — which begins to complicate the lives of his closest friends. Director Steve Dudas, ’11, described the play as “a fun and absurd piece,” and said the writing is “witty, sharp, and funny. Definitely full of energy and emotion with each beat.”
Albion College students founded the Dead Pinocchio Theatre in 2008, to produce experimental, innovative, provocative, and original theatre.
This performance is for mature audiences. The performance is free and open to the public, but reservations are recommended as seating is limited. For reservations contact Steve Dudas at or 517/629-1077.
