1978 Class Notes

Nancy Kelley Daly, ’78, is client services manager of Executive Education Inc. in Chelsea, which she owns with her husband, John Daly, ’77. The company provides continuing professional education seminars through 40 accounting associations. They appeared last summer as Elsa and Max in the Chelsea Area Players production of The Sound of Music. They also sing at local country clubs as a duo called “Strolling Serenade.” They live in Chelsea.

Mark Tompkins, ’78, is the new superintendent for Harbor Springs School District. He previously was the principal for Wealthy Elementary School in East Grand Rapids. Currently working toward a Ph.D. from Western Michigan University, Mark earned a master’s degree from Harvard University. He served on the Albion Board of Education from 1991 to 1994. He and his wife, Marsha Rosewarne Tompkins, ’79, have three children.
