1982 Class Notes

Lyle Brown, ’82, was recently appointed executive director of AFSCME Local 449 in Tucson, AZ. It is the largest union in southern Arizona. Lyle sings professionally with the Arizona Opera, Suenos de Oro, and Tucson Chamber Artists. He lives in Tucson.

Steven Hartman, ’82, teaches elementary music grades K-5 in the Albion Public Schools (APS). He previously spent 20 years as instrumental music director for APS. Steven earned his master’s degree in music education from Western Michigan University. He and his wife, Tami, were married in 1998, and they have three children. They live in Battle Creek.

Christopher Lippert, ’82, has been promoted to senior vice president in commercial real estate at TD Banknorth in Massachusetts, where he manages a team of five commercial lenders and support staff. Christopher joined TD Banknorth in 2002. He has been in banking and commercial real estate for 25 years. He is active with the Boy Scouts of America, Challenge Unlimited, Melrose Youth Soccer, and the Local Initiatives Support Corp. Christopher received an M.B.A. from Boston College in 1991. He lives in Melrose, MA.
