"Love, In Theory" is the short story collection that won author E.J. Levy a number of awards, including the Great Lakes Colleges Association (GLCA) New Writer Award for 2014. Levy reads from this and other works in an appearance at Albion College Tuesday, March 3, at 5:30 p.m. in the Albion College Library Wendell Will Room. Levy’s writing has been featured in Best American Essays, Paris Review, and The New York Times, among other places, and received a Pushcart Prize. "Love, In Theory" also received the 2012 Flannery O’Connor Award and a 2012 ForeWord Book of the Year Award and will be published in French. Levy edited the anthology "Tasting Life Twice: Literary Lesbian Fiction by New American Writers, which won a Lambda Literary Award. She holds a degree in history from Yale and teaches in the MFA Program at Colorado State University.
