Special Interest Housing Option
Special Housing Interest Option for the 2015-2016 Academic Year:
Our intention is to use the fourth building of The Mae as the Gender Neutral House for the 2015-2016 academic year. This decision will be finalized based on the number of applications received for the Gender Neutral Housing Option for the 2015-2016 year.
The fourth building of The Mae includes 2 two-bedroom, one bath apartments, housing a total of 8 students.
The Gender Neutral Housing option means that male and female residents may reside in the apartment as apartment-mates but may not reside in the apartment as roommates. There is a designated section on the application where the applicant needs to explain how they are advocates for gender awareness. The Gender Neutral House is considered a privileged housing option for junior and senior level men and women.
Students interested in the Gender Neutral Housing Option must apply individually during the Room Selection Process.
Special Interest Housing Applications are due Friday, March 6, 2015 by 5:00 pm.
