Environmentalism Through an Intersectional Lens: Urban Gardening

The Center for Sustainability and the Environment invites you to join our film and conversation series. The first event in the series is centered on urban gardening and food security. Following an abridged showing of Urban Roots, a documentary film that tells the story of the emergence of urban farming in the city of Detroit, local experts from the Albion Community Gardens, the Community Table of Albion, the Albion NAACP and the Albion Healthcare Alliance will discuss implications in our local community and share ways to get involved.
