Internships & Career Development
Ready to make an impact? Your professional path starts here.
We’re here to help you succeed–during and beyond College. At Albion, we build professional development into every aspect of your college experience so that you graduate equipped with the skills you’ll need in advanced study and your professional career. That’s why 91% of our alumni are employed, continuing their education or in full-time volunteer service within six months of graduation.
One of the greatest things about Albion is how it's prepared me, and continues to prepare me, for my future endeavors in my career path and life.
Internships
Spend a semester interning at a government agency in Washington, D.C or working for a museum through the New York Arts Program. In today’s competitive job market, it is important for you to obtain experience related to your career ambitions. Our faculty and career advisors can help you secure internships that prepare you for life after Albion. And you’ll earn college credit for your experience–building your resume and advancing your education at the same time.
Centers & Institutes
Our centers and institutes prepare students for successful careers in the fields of public policy, medicine, sustainability, education and business and management. By joining a center or institute, you’ll access professional development workshops, one-on-one mentorship from professional advisors and internships and community engagement opportunities that will translate everything you’re learning into action. Regardless of your major, you’ll grow as a leader and develop a close network of peers and alumni mentors.
Career & Internship Center
From resume tips to finding an internship or on-campus position, our staff at the Career & Internship Center are here to help students map out purposeful career paths.
Professional Network
Once a Brit, always a Brit. When you study at Albion, you join a tight-knit community of leaders and innovators. Our alumni are experts in their field–and they want to see you succeed, too. Our alumni have opened doors to Albion students by offering internships, mentorship, volunteering and job opportunities.
On-Campus Jobs
Write for the Pleiad, mentor other students or contribute to our ongoing conservation efforts in the Whitehouse Nature Center. At Albion, we believe it is our responsibility to facilitate every student’s journey toward finding their purpose. One way that students discover this direction is to work while in college. You’ll receive close mentorship from faculty and staff, develop as a leader and make a lasting positive impact on the campus.
