Albion’s recent listing as a top 50 innovative national liberal arts college by U.S. News and World Report and its annual recognition for efforts in social mobility by Washington Monthly have factored into its inclusion in a new aggregate ranking.

At No. 91, Albion is firmly among the Best National Liberal Arts Colleges: Top 100 Consensus Ranked Schools 2021, put together by the website College Consensus. Combining publisher ratings from U.S. News, Washington Monthly, The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education, Money and Wallethub with student-review scores from Cappex, My Plan, Niche, Students Review and Unigo, College Consensus, in its words, “gives prospective students the truest picture of what experts and students alike have to say.”

“While various rankings are best seen as just one tool in a family’s college search, the aggregate nature of this ranking is noteworthy,” said Dr. Hernan Bucheli, vice president of enrollment management and strategic initiatives. “Our inclusion in this list, tabulated from many of the most high-profile names in college rankings, is an indication of the innovative strides we have made over the last several years. It also serves as further affirmation of the long-standing quality of an Albion education and its high return on investment when it comes to graduate and professional school placement and career success.”
