Digital Songwriting Workshop

Sunday, June 29-Wednesday, July 2

If you are a songwriter, come build your creative and musical tools with lead teachers who are working professional musicians and songwriters – and are Albion College alumni!

This program is for high school students entering grades 10-12.

The intensive workshop will include:

  • Coaching and suggestions on songwriting.
  • Instruction on Logic Pro X music software.
  • Voice, keyboard or guitar instruction.
  • A final performance recital.

Digital Songwriting Workshop

Join Albion College alumni Jane Spencer ’14 and Brian Spencer ’13 of the band FINKEL for this intensive four-day applied workshop!

Workshop cost is $799 and includes room and board. The timeline is as follows:

  • Sunday, June 29: afternoon arrival, dinner, evening opening session
  • Monday, June 30-Wednesday, July 2: intensive daylong sessions, evening independent work and practice
  • Wednesday, July 2: Final performance at 5 pm, Goodrich Chapel, and departure afterward
