Activities

The Build Albion Fellows program offers various activities for its members focused on professional development and experiential learning initiatives.  In partnership with the Bonner Foundation, Fellows are urged to attend the following events on a merit basis:

National Activities

Fellows will participate in national conferences and activities related to community-engaged service learning.

Local Activities

Fellows engage in the following activities during their time in the program at Albion College:

Build Albion Fellows Program Orientation

Fellows engage in a three-day orientation that introduces them to program staff, the handbook outlining program expectations, community partners, and the Albion community through a series of activities and workshops.

Weekly Service

Fellows complete ten hours of service per week at their community site placement.

Senior Capstone Presentation  

Fellows complete a service project in tandem with their community partner on an area of need in the Albion community.
