Amy L. Routhier

Vice President of Advancement

Amy was named vice president of IA beginning September 10, 2024.

She returned to her alma mater in 2022 to lead the administration of all public and private grants and foundation relations after serving in a variety of fundraising, marketing, enrollment, and program development roles at Western Michigan University. Last year, she gained greater responsibility over the recruitment, management, and coaching of philanthropy officers and the strategies for meaningful donor engagement with Albion. She regularly works as a partner with College administrators, institutes, staff, faculty, and students in support of philanthropic goals.

Amy graduated from Albion in 1999 with a dual major in psychology and Spanish. During her time as a student, she studied abroad in Seville, Spain. She earned an M.A. in social sciences from the University of Chicago in 2000.

Amy brings a track record of cultivating and stewarding transformational major gifts for critical priorities at Western, knows Albion well, and is deeply connected to the greater Kalamazoo community.
