Kiah Kayser

Assistant Professor of Theatre

Kiah Kayser is a scenic designer, artist, and educator originally hailing from Minnesota. In 2017, she received her MFA in scenic design from University of Arkansas after receiving her BA in Performing Arts from Iowa State University. Since then, she has worked all over the country at various theaters including: Playhouse on the Square (TN), Opera Memphis, Ohio Light Opera, TheatreSquared (AR), Cedar Rapids Opera, Iowa Stage, and Irish Repertory Theatre (NYC). In addition to her design work, Kiah has taught at several small colleges around the country. Prior to joining the faculty at Albion, she taught at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. In Kiah’s classes she loves pushing the boundaries of creative problem solving and helping students really find their creative voice.
