While attending Albion, Rodney was a member of the Prentiss M. Brown Honors program, the Wilson Institute of Medicine, Psi Chi Honor Society, Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., Student Senate and Men’s Varsity Basketball Team.

In the classroom Rodney studied Psychology and Neuroscience and minored in Cell and Molecular Biology. He also participated in Michigan Colleges Alliance (MCA), and interned for Beaumont Health Hospitals where he designed and executed a plan that increased physician engagement in philanthropy.
Rodney plans to pursue a dual MBA/MD degree. He is passionate about STEM and shares this passion by hosting educational camps for at-risk youth in underserved communities. He also volunteers as a tutor for incarcerated youth at a juvenile center.

Rodney is eager to give back to Albion College, which played an important role in his growth and success. He hopes to help future students benefit from the same positive experiences.
