Students at Albion College just expanded their opportunities for hands-on learning, while faculty, staff and community members gained more living, retail and investment options in their backyard, thanks to a new downtown revitalization project that received support and funding from the state.

Albion College has been designated a Voter Friendly Campus by the Fair Elections Center’s Campus Vote Project and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). Albion College is one of 258 campuses in 38 states and the District of Columbia to receive the designation.

Philosophy professor emeritus Ralph Davis passed away Feb. 8 in Portland, OR at the age of 81. He is survived by Margaret, his wife of 55 years, two children and one grandchild.

Hundreds of vocalists will gather March 17-18 at Albion College for the twice-postponed National Intercollegiate Tenor-Bass Choruses Conference. The world-renowned Cantus offers a headline concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 17, while ensembles from five U.S. states and Canada will perform five additional concerts during the two-day conference. All performances take place in Albion College’s Goodrich Chapel.
