Career: Associate Relationship Manger for PNC

In a nutshell, what do you do?

I support a team of Relationship Managers to provide our customers with impactful financial expertise. I run models, provide analysis, and talk with clients about their goals/plans for their company’s future.

Why do you love what you do?

Every company I work with different. I love hearing their stories and history of how they got to where they are today. It gives me great pleasure in knowing that I can help them continue to grow their business with the services and expertise PNC provides.

How did Albion help you get there?

What originally drew me to Albion was their business program and the Gerstacker institute. I had always been interested in business and I wanted the college I attended to have a great business program and for me that was Albion. Not only did I study Economics and Management but I joined the Gerstacker Institute as well. I did all of this thinking it would help set me up for a great career after school and I was right. During my senior year I got an email from my Gerstacker advisors saying that a recruiter from PNC was looking for a candidate for their development program and my name was brought up. Within 72 hours I had exchanged emails, phone calls, and had three interviews for the position. By Christmas I was offered the job. My work and dedication to Albion’s business program had paid off and I was able to start work right after college.

For me, Albion …

…was the school that had the programs and professors that cared about my success and led me towards the career that I enjoy pursuing today.
