Jared Fife

Jared Fife, ’21, is an Accounting-CPA Emphasis major with a concentration in the Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management. He is also a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon — Economic Honors Society, a student assistant for the Albion Men’s Basketball Team, and currently enrolled in the International Entrepreneurship Course, Sup De Vent. In previous years, he has been the Chief Financial Officer for Student Senate, President of the Accounting Society, Treasurer of Investment Club, and Site Coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

During the winter and summer of 2020, Jared completed two tax internships, one with Clayton & McKervey P.C. and the other with Ernst & Young. During his time with Clayton & McKervey P.C., Jared worked with the tax team to prepare individual and partnership returns. At Ernst & Young, Jared worked with members of the tax team to prepare corporate tax returns. Both internships gave him the knowledge and skills needed to apply his experience in many areas of a tax practice. After graduation, Jared be starting as a full-time Tax Staff Accountant for Ernst & Young in San Diego, CA starting in January 2022. Between the time of his start date and graduation from Albion College, Jared plans on studying and completing the CPA exam while taking some time to travel abroad.
