Enkhmaa Buyanbadrakh, an accounting major from Mongolia, is recipient of the Michigan Women’s Tax Association’s (MWTA) 2025 $1,000 DKSS Scholarship in memory of Sandra McCloud.
Buyanbadrakh ’26 will be a featured guest at MWTA’s Annual Conference Oct. 30 at Laurel Manor in Livonia, Michigan, where scholarships winners will be introduced.
“Enkhmaa is an outstanding student who excels academically and demonstrates her exceptional leadership skills,” said Connie O’Brien, assistant professor in Albion College’s Economics and Management Department and Buyanbadrakh’s FURSCA mentor. “Her commitment to her field is evident through her active participation in clubs and organizations on campus. She is a FURSCA scholar and uses her research to improve the accounting profession. These achievements demonstrate her potential as a promising scholar in accounting.”
Buyanbadrakh is a junior majoring in accounting (CPA emphasis) with a minor in data analytics. She is a member of Albion College’s Omicron Delta Epsilon. She also serves as president of the Asian Cultural Engagement Group, where she and her board members organize cultural events to promote inclusivity on campus.
