Timothy Wyman ’91
Education: B.A., Albion College, 1991. J.D., Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University, 1999, admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan.
Dr. Tim Wyman earned a B.A. from Albion College in 1991. During his time at Albion, Wyman was a member of the two time MIAA Champion football team and Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He discovered a passion for financial advising, an interest that has stuck with him in his current career as a managing partner and certified financial planner™ professional for Center for Financial Planning, Inc.
Albion has been a valuable part of Wyman’s life. He met his wife, Jen, ’90, at Albion, and one of his sons, Jack, ’18, is also a graduate. Moreover, family members Troy Wyman ‘98, Tia Darbee Carmichael ‘87 and Scott Carmichael ’85 are also proud graduates of Albion College.
Professionally, Wyman has earned a place on Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisors List in Michigan for five consecutive years as well being named a Financial Times 400 Top Financial Advisor. A leader in his profession, Wyman has served on the
National Board of Directors for the Financial Planning Association and frequently is invited to speak to organizations, businesses, and national and local media.
He has been an active community volunteer, serving several organizations, for more than 30 years. Wyman currently serves as the chair of the College’s Endowment Investment Committee.
