Dr. Vicki Baker’s human resources class virtually brings together classrooms on four continents in a project for the Global Liberal Arts Alliance.

With everything from art to science, this year’s celebration of student research promises to be educational for everyone.

On March 25–27, Dr. Seolah Kim, assistant professor of economics and management, and Aminaa Injinash, ’24, attended the Midwest Economics Association’s Annual Meeting in Minneapolis for the undergraduate paper competition. This was the first time that an Albion student presented a paper as a part of this competition since the best undergraduate paper award was created.

The Pleiad is recognized in opinion and feature writing, as well as in design and photography.

Over spring break, five students and three chaperones visited Las Vegas, part of Dr. Mark Bollman’s Mathematics of the Gaming Industry class.

Leslie Spicer Williams, the creator and moderator of the Wildcat Wisdom Series, says she was inspired to pursue the project because “I was born and raised in Albion, and felt that my success was based on my upbringing and having a community that had my back.”

The Marilyn Crandell Schleg Archivist and Special Collections Librarian is the new director of FURSCA, one of Albion’s signature programs.

The ‘go-to’ resource is used in religious studies courses and classrooms at colleges and universities around the world.

The Albion history professor develops rich stories from photographs and film across the first half of the 20th century.
