Albion College graduate Tim Ward, ’86, recently got involved with an organization called Chance for Life, which pledges to “go the extra mile” to help those incarcerated build new skills and a new life.
Sammi Ahnen and 10 other Albion College students have never committed a crime, but they all spent 15 weeks behind imposing brick walls lined with razor wire at the Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson.
Amy Spitalnick, former executive director of Integrity First for America (IFA), will be the guest lecturer for the annual David Aldrich Speaker in Law, Justice and Society Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 7:15 p.m. at Bobbitt Auditorium on the campus of Albion College.
“U.S. foreign policy is stronger if it can represent the voices and the interests of all Americans,” says Dr. Carrie Booth Walling, professor of political science and faculty director of the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service at Albion College.
A professor in Albion’s Political Science Department for 10 years, Walling brings her expertise in international politics and human rights to the College’s home for students interested in public policy and service.
Albion students in these two majors can begin graduate study as much as two full semesters faster thanks to the College’s new “4+1” agreement with WMU launching in Fall 2021.
