Purple & Gold Weekend is a time for Britons to gather on campus and celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of our students and alumni, as well as the experiences at Albion College that have shaped our personal and professional growth.

Join for one or all of our scheduled programs Saturday morning! All will be located in the Bobbitt Visual Arts Center.
Continental Breakfast: 8–9 a.m.
Visit with College administrators and staff over coffee and breakfast. Open-house style.
State of the College with President Wayne Webster: 9–9:45 a.m.
Join us for remarks and discussion with President Webster about the latest updates and happenings at the College.
Experiential Learning Student Panel: 10–10:45 a.m.
A spotlight on our institutional strength of facilitating exceptional experiential learning, this panel will feature current students from a variety of academic disciplines and campus involvements.
Back to Class: 11–11:45 a.m.
Join Gene Cline, professor emeritus of philosophy, for a return to the classroom in this discussion-based session.
Stockwell Society Luncheon: Saturday, April 12
The Stockwell Society honors alumni, friends, faculty, and staff who have included a gift to Albion College in their estate plan. All current members of the Stockwell Society are invited to this special luncheon, as well as those interested in learning more about planned giving opportunities.

Campus / Nature Center Tours: Saturday, April 12
1:30–2:30 p.m.
Join for a campus tour or a walk at the Whitehouse Nature Center!
Campus tours, led by Admission student tour guide staff, will depart from the Bonta Welcome Center.
The nature walk, led by director Misty Brooks, will depart from the Whitehouse Nature Center visitors’ center.
Lacrosse Reunion: Saturday, April 12
2 p.m., Alumni Field
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of our men’s and women’s lacrosse championship teams! In 2015, the men’s team won their first-ever MIAA Championship and Tournament Championship, while the women’s team won their first Tournament Championship.
Watch our current women’s lacrosse team take on the Kalamazoo College Hornets at noon, followed by a reunion tailgate to celebrate the 2015 teams near alumni field. Stick around after the tailgate to watch the men’s game against the Alma College Scots.

35th Annual Elkin R. Isaac Student Research Symposium: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Location: Science Complex
Established in 1990, the Elkin R. Isaac Student Research Symposium honors excellent student research, scholarship, and creative activity. Student participants are nominated by faculty sponsors after having participated in independent research that results in the significant synthesis of new knowledge.
Join us for student platform presentations, the Honors Convocation, and poster presentations.
Student Leadership Awards: 7 p.m.

Hosted by the Office of Campus Life, the Student Leadership Awards is a time for student organizations to recognize students for their involvement, contributions, and accomplishments during the year.

Kaos in the KC: 7–10 p.m.
Location: Kellogg Center
Hosted by the Office of Campus Life, Kaos in the KC is a monthly student event featuring different activities on each floor. Alumni and all Britons are invited to join us for our Purple & Gold Kaos, which includes massages, mini rock painting, and a silent disco!
