Guest Artist Recital: Tess Miller, flute and Nicholas Laban, piano

Flutist Tess Miller and pianist Nicholas Laban present a recital of music by female composers, almost all from the state of Michigan. The program will include “Baikal Journey” by Catherine McMichael, a work that explores the depths and richness of the world’s deepest lake; a haunting “Lullaby” by Elena Specht; and Marjan Helms’s lyrical and thrilling “Sonata for Flute and Piano.”
