Traveling History Museum Brings Women of Color to Albion College

Stories of remarkable African-American women – told through unique and original artifacts – are on display. The
event is presented by the True Black Traveling History Museum and is free and open to the public.

In honor of Women’s History Month, the exhibit features original artifacts, signed documents and photos of
Mary McLeod Bethune, Rosa Parks, Maya Angelou, Angela Davis, Mae Jemison, Shirley Chisholm, Coretta
Scott King, Oprah Winfrey, Condoleezza Rice and other great African-American women. It was created by
the True Black Traveling History Museum, who bring history education to communities across the country.
