Presidential Search – October Update

Dear Albion College Community,

It is mid-October and we are making excellent progress with our search for the 18th president of Albion College. We could not have gotten this far without you. Your participation in the Presidential Search forums and stakeholder surveys was integral in developing the qualifications portion of the Presidential Search Prospectus, which has been circulating for almost a month.

Our partners at Russell Reynolds Associates have been marketing the position nationally and are pleased with the response to date. Please continue to submit any candidate ideas you may have to [email protected]. We have received several and are grateful for your thoughtful suggestions.

The Search Committee’s timeline moving forward is simple:

• Candidate review and preliminary interviews in early winter
• Finalist interviews in early spring
• Announcement of 18th president in early spring
• New president in place for the 2023-24 academic year
