Princeton Review Counts Albion as One of Its Best 386 Colleges

Albion College is featured in the Princeton Review’s Best 386 Colleges, the title of its annual guidebook for 2021.

“It is superb to see that The Princeton Review included Albion College in its list of Best 386 Colleges, as well as to see Albion listed as one of the Best Midwestern Colleges in the 2021 publication,” said Dr. Hernan Bucheli, Albion’s vice president for enrollment management. “It’s also rewarding that our College is placed in such high esteem for excellence in higher education, and that we continue to rank among the nation’s best liberal arts colleges. This type of recognition is indicative of the increased interest in Albion College relative to our enrollment growth over the last decade.”

The guide talks about the importance of history to Albion but acknowledges the present and future as the keys for students. As examples, the Princeton Review’s profile of Albion highlights the Lisa and James Wilson Institute for Medicine, which is transforming premedical education and students’ approach to and preparation for medical school, as well as the expansion of the Dow Recreation and Wellness Center through a gift from Joe Serra, ’82, and his wife, Julie.

“Change can be seen everywhere,” the profile describes, adding that Albion “puts students in the real world and asks them to research, participate and lead.”
