New Student Orientation (Albion-O)
Welcome to your new home!
Albion-O is designed to welcome you to campus and help you build an immediate sense of community, connection, and belonging. You’ll explore campus and downtown Albion, get settled into your new home, make friends, meet staff and faculty, learn about resources and programs available to you during your time at Albion, and, above all, have fun!
Albion-O 2025 will take place Wednesday, August 20 – Sunday, August 24, 2025. Move-in for new students will take place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
The past orientation schedule (2024) is below for reference. We will publish the full 2025 orientation by May 1, 2025. We look forward to welcoming you to campus soon!

Wednesday, August 21, 2024
- Move-In (between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.) – Kellogg Center
- Matriculation Ceremony (4 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.) – Goodrich Chapel – All new students, parents and supporters are encouraged to attend!
- Student Welcome and Supporter Sessions
- Student Session (4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.) – Goodrich Chapel – During this session, you’ll learn more about what to expect during Albion-O and get the chance to meet your peers!
- Supporter Session (4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.) – Norris – Learn more about important campus resources and how best to support your student.
- Welcome BBQ Dinner for Students and Supporters (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) – Quad
- All students will eat for free, all other guests will have the opportunity to purchase meal tickets during the move-in process.
- First Floor Meetings with your Community Assistant (8 p.m. to 10 p.m.) – Residence Halls
