The Albion College Theatre Department presents Firebringer, a Stone Age musical!
At the dawn of humanity, a tribe of cave-people survives prehistoric life under the wise leadership of Jemilla, The Peacemaker. Jemilla taught her people to value hard work and how to express themselves, rather than bashing each others’ heads with rocks. But one member of the tribe is tired of spending her days working: Zazzalil. On a fateful night, Zazzalil sneaks out of the cave during a thunderstorm and stumbles upon the most important discovery in human history. It’s one that will take her on a whirlwind journey from tribe slacker to tribe leader and change the world forever. Not suitable for audiences under 18.
All performances are at the Herrick Black Box Theatre, in the Dow Center. Admission is free.
