About Fiske

This building has historically hosted the languages community known as “I-Space,” located at Dean Hall for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.

Students in Fiske House must select the 15, 18, or 21-Block Residential Meal Plans. Please see the Dining Services page for more information.

Room Furnishings

Per Student:

  • XL twin size bed (80” x 36”)
  • May be bunked or placed as individuals
  • Desk and chair
  • Either a chest of drawers (three-drawer unit) or a wardrobe/armoire

Per Room:

  • Mini blinds
  • Carpet

Building your own loft is prohibited. All College furniture must remain in the room throughout the entire academic year.

House Amenities

Internet Access

  • Wireless access is available throughout the building. Wired connections are available upon request (submit work order request to the Helpdesk to be connected).

Key Access

  • Our card system allows students to use their Albion1Card as a key to their residential building as well as their individual room.

Kitchen and Laundry

  • In a shared location on the first level, the building’s kitchenette has a stove, sink, refrigerator, and microwave, and two washing machines and dryers.
  • Laundry facilities at Albion College are free of charge.

Albion College cleans the restrooms and common areas.

Community Living Staff

Area Coordinator (AC)

  • A full-time professional staff member hired through the Office of Community Living.
  • Fiske House Area Coordinator resides in Whitehouse Hall and oversees Whitehouse Hall, Seaton Hall, Fiske House, and Ingham Hall.

Community Assistant (CA)

  • An upper-class student leader hired through the Office of Community Living
  • The Fiske CA resides in Ingham Hall and also provides support for that community

Use of Tobacco Products
