Housing Options Available: 2024-2025 Academic year

Eligibility and Styles

All housing styles available for selection for the 2024-2025 Academic Year will be assigned through the Room Selection Process (RSP).

Each of the buildings indicated below will include information about how many persons must be included in Roommate Groups to select at the groups designated time slot.

Cost of housing can be reviewed on the Tuition and Fees webpage.

Some styles and buildings have additional parameters that define eligibility, gauge student interest, or otherwise inform RSP.

  • Apartment-style options are available to rising junior and senior standing students.
  • Thematic communities are designated in a specific area of campus with significant interest from students. We encourage students to indicate interest in these communities on their housing form:
    • Quiet-study floor
    • Substance-free floor
    • Global Community
    • Queer Connections
  • Women’s Only Community (Ingham Hall) is designated for women-identifying students
  • I-Space, the Modern Languages and Cultures (MLAC) Living Learning Community is now located at Dean Hall
  • Fraternity members are required to live at their chapter house. Non-members are not permitted to reside in a fraternity chapter house without approval.
  • Gender-inclusive assignments are available in Mitchell Towers and Whitehouse Hall (suite-style, 4-person suites), and Mae Karro Residential Village (4 and 6-person apartments). Gender-inclusive means students are not required to select other students of the same gender identity within their roommate group – we do require that a group must fill the suite at time of selection.
  • Single-occupancy rooms in our residence halls are limited on campus are reserved for students with documented disabilities. Additional requests for single rooms may be submitted through the petition process but are not assigned during RSP. Single rooms within our apartment-style housing are assigned through group lottery process. Review the Exemptions and Accommodations information here.
