Student Action Steps
Returning Student Housing Form (eRezLife)
Step 1: Returning Student Housing Form will be available on March 11, 2024 in eRezLife.
To best prepare for Room Selection Process (RSP), please consider the kinds of environments that improve your well-being, who you may want to live with and what your most important roommate priorities may be, and what level of financial and community responsibility you are prepared to maintain (cost of housing, cleaning kitchen, etc.).
Step 2: Create a Roommate Profile – will be available immediately after completing the Returning Student Housing Form (step 1). Select which of your preferences are important to you and describe yourself a bit with a elevator pitch – this profile will be how students find others with similar interests.
Step 3: Form a Roommate Group – will be available immediately after completing the Returning Student Housing Form (step 1). Search for others by name, preferences, and interest in thematic housing options and invite/accept roommate group affiliation. Groups must fill the housing options desired, so if you are hoping for a suite of four people, you must form a roommate group with four people.
Step 4: Browse Housing Options in eRezLife, based on the eligibility and size of your Roommate Group. As you browse, you can “star” different options to your favorites folder, to view when you log in to select your assignment in step 5.
Step 5: Select Your Housing Assignment during your designation selection time slot. This will feel similar to logging in and registering for classes. One student will select the housing assignment on behalf of the group, but all students will have to log in to select their meal plan assignments. The default assignment will be the 18-block residential meal plan where meal plans are required. Where not required (apartments), the default will be No Meal Plan, but students may add a residential or commuter plan if desired.
