Medical emergencies include, but are not limited to:

  • Head injury/unconsciousness
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Broken bones
  • Chest pain
  • Trouble Breathing
  • Overdose
  • Severe burns

Medical non-emergencies, but need prompt treatment:

Go to Oaklawn Express Care-Albion (walk-in facility) 11am-8pm 7 days/week or call (517) 654-1020.

Non-emergency medical issues that require prompt attention include, but are not limited to:

  • Colds/Flu
  • Sore throat
  • Ear or Eye infections
  • Sprains
  • Nausea/Vomiting
  • Minor burns
  • Wound care
  • Allergy injections
  • STD tests
  • Pregnancy tests

Medical issues that can be scheduled include, but are not limited to:

  • Physicals
  • Sports physicals
  • Immunizations
  • Routine gynecological care

Urgent Care Centers

If you become ill or get injured and it is a true emergency, call Campus Safety to arrange transportation by ambulance to the Emergency Room at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall or Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson.
