Transcript Request Form (Download) Order an Electronic Transcript

Your Albion College transcript is a permanent record of all coursework you have completed at Albion College, all transfer coursework, and all classes that you are currently registered for at Albion College. Transfer coursework is shown on the transcript through credit earned. No grades are transferred to Albion College. Any course that you are currently registered for will be listed as “courses in progress.”

You have the option of requesting transcripts electronically via the National Student Clearinghouse or by submitting a completed Transcript Request form directly to the Registrar’s Office.

Attention:

You will need either your Student ID number or your Social Security Number to order a transcript electronically.

To those seeking transcripts to be sent to CAS, the Centralized service for such organizations as AACOMAS CAS, AMCAS, CASPA, CSDCAS, NursingCAS, OTCAS, PharmCAS, and PTCAS, CAS has issued the following recommendation:

“To ensure applications are processed in a timely manner, and to avoid any mail delays or interruptions due to the evolving actions being taken across the US to contain COVID-19, we recommend schools that issue paper transcripts to consider transmitting transcripts electronically.”

Ordering Transcripts Electronically

Albion College has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the internet. You can order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.

To order an official transcript(s), log into the Clearinghouse secure site using the link below. The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. A $5.00 processing fee will be charged per recipient if you want a paper copy mailed. There is a $6.00 charge if you want your transcripts sent electronically as a .pdf file to an email address you provide.

Expedited delivery options are available at an additional cost. Please call for current pricing of delivery services. Order updates will be emailed to you and you can track your order online. Only students who entered Albion College after 1985 are able to request electronic transcripts.

Ordering Transcripts Directly From The Registrar's Office

Transcripts may be ordered by submitting a completed Transcript Request Form to the Registrar’s Office in person or, by emailing a scanned, signed copy of the request form to registrar@albion.edu, or by mailing it to: Registrar’s Office, Albion College, 611 E. Porter St., Albion, MI 49224.

Your written signature is required to release your transcript.

  • Allow a minimum of 24 hours between receipt of request and pick-up.
  • Transcript requests may be held until courses in progress are completed or change of grades are turned in by the instructor if the student indicates that preference on the form when submitting the request.

Transcripts may be requested in person or by emailing a scanned copy of the completed transcript request form. You will need to include the following information:

  • Your full name and any name change you may have had
  • Your last date of attendance at Albion
  • Phone number where you can be reached
  • The complete address of where your transcript is to be sent
  • Your Signature (required by federal law in order for a transcript to be released)

Most transcript requests will be sent within 24 hours after request has been received by the Office of the Registrar.

Transcripts will not be released if you have a debt with the college.

As a service to Albion former and current students, the college is no longer charging a transcript fee. This service is made possible by the financial support of alumni who give to the annual fund each year. Special handling costs are charged to the student.

  • Parents, relatives, friends may not request a transcript for you.
  • FERPA guidelines regarding release of student records are adhered to. We cannot release transcripts without a written request with your signature, we cannot allow someone else to pick them up for you without your written permission.

Albion College can not guarantee delivery and is not responsible for misdirected or lost transcripts en route or timely delivery by carrier.
